Energy fields are considered the basis for subtle diagnostic and therapeutic methods such as <strong>bioresonance<\/strong>, <strong>reiki<\/strong>, <strong>quantum healing<\/strong> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.body-balance-check.com\/en\/glossar\/energy-medicine\/\"><strong>energy medicine<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Origin and concepts of energy fields<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.body-balance-check.com\/en\/glossar\/traditional-chinese-medicine-tcm\/\"><strong>Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM)<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.body-balance-check.com\/en\/glossar\/ayurveda\/\"><strong>Ayurveda<\/strong><\/a> and other ancient healing systems have long described the existence of an <strong>invisible life energy<\/strong> \u2013 known as \u2018qi\u2019, \u201cprana\u201d or \u2018etheric energy\u2019. These energies move along specific pathways (meridians, nadis) and nourish the body, mind and soul.<\/p>\n<p>With the advent of modern energetic healing methods, the term \u2018energetic field\u2019 was coined to translate these concepts into a more scientific context. This activates self-regulation on all levels \u2013 physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.<\/p>\n<h3>Connection to modern science<\/h3>\n<p>Although the concept of energy fields originally stems from spiritual and naturopathic traditions, there are also explanatory approaches in <strong>modern physics and biology<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Electromagnetic fields<\/strong>: Every cell generates a measurable electromagnetic field.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Biophotons<\/strong>: Cells communicate via light signals \u2013 a kind of \u2018light field\u2019.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Quantum vacuum<\/strong>: Modern quantum physics assumes that even \u2018nothingness\u2019 is full of energy and information.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Morpic fields (Rupert Sheldrake)<\/strong>: Hypothetical fields that influence the form and behaviour of organisms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These models support the assumption that humans are much more than just matter \u2013 and that energetic influences can have a measurable and healing effect.<\/p>\n<h3>Conclusion<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Energetic fields<\/strong> are a central concept in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.body-balance-check.com\/en\/glossar\/regulatory-medicine\/\">regulatory<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.body-balance-check.com\/en\/glossar\/holistic-medicine\/\">holistic medicine<\/a>.
